long have you worked at the Connection?
For five years. I started out as a second shift monitor. Then I became
a Shelter Case Manager, which quickly led me to becoming a DOC case manager.
Recently I was promoted to Shelter Program Director.
What
do you do at the Connection?
I am responsible for a twenty-four hour emergency shelter. I take care
of administrative work, find housing alternatives for clients and take
care of their needs. Overall, I work to remove clients from emergency
situations to safe, healthy areas.
What
do you like about your job?
I love working with shelter residents and people in need. I also love
the staff we have here.
What
did you do before working at the Connection?
I was an international business administration student.
