A residential and day treatment center, providing intensive supervision, counseling, monitoring, and community service for clients who are offered an alternative to incarceration, located in Middletown.

Our mission is to “light the way” to future success, by providing clients the tools they lack to become productive members of their communities. We achieve the mission by providing structured, supportive, evidence-based programming that addresses individual client needs and reduces their likelihood of criminal recidivism.

Clients must be over sixteen and are referred by the Courts, as well as the Probation and Parole Departments. Admission is based upon the client’s criminal justice status, level of supervision required, and the client’s psychosocial needs. We can accommodate 24 residential clients (8 for females, 16 for males), and day clients. Clients are assessed within 24 hours of admission.

Based on need, clients are provided with the following services:

  • Job Development and Job Search, such as interviewing skills, resume writing, and assistance with applying for employment.
  • Educational services, such as basic literacy and G.E.D. preparation, through group and individual instruction.
  • Substance Abuse Education, such as individual and group sessions, provided by a licensed substance abuse counselor.
  • Life Skills, such as anger management, trauma education, and health education, based on cognitive-behavioral educational models.
