The Eddy Center, located in Middletown, is a residential treatment center providing intensive supervision, counseling and monitoring for individuals who are offered an alternative to incarceration.
By providing structured, supportive evidence-based programming that addresses individual client needs, we help ease their transition back into the community and reduce the likelihood of criminal recidivism.
Clients must be over 18 years of age and are referred by Parole Departments throughout the state. Admission to Eddy Center is based upon the individual’s criminal justice status, level of supervision required, and psychosocial needs. We can accommodate 28 residential clients at any given time. Our clients are assessed within 24 hours of admission, and based on need, are provided with the following services:
Job development and job search, such as interviewing skills, resume writing, and assistance with applying for employment
Educational services, such as basic literacy and G.E.D. preparation, through group and individual instruction
Substance abuse education, such as individual and group sessions, provided by a licensed substance abuse counselor
Life skills, such as anger management, trauma education and health education, based on cognitive-behavioral educational models
